Scarborough GOP Caucus- Saturday, January 30th @ 10:30AM

Annalee Rosenblatt, Chair of the Scarborough Republican Town Committee, has announced that the Scarborough Republicans will caucus on SATRUDAY, JANUARY 30, 201O, at Scarborough Town Hall, Chambers A and B, 10:30 a.m. until the business of the caucus is finished around 1 P.M. 

The purpose of the caucus is to elected Delegates and Alternates to the Sate Convention, elect members of the Cumberland County Republican Committee, and organize for the upcoming elections.  All Scarborough Republicans are invited and urged to attend.  Scarborough is eligible to elect 69 delegates and 69 alternates to the State Convention.

The Cumberland County Republican Committee meets the third Tuesday of the month at various locations around the County. 

The State Convention will be held in Portland on May 7 and 8, 2010. It has been years since the caucus was held in Portland so this present an excellent opportunity for more Scarborough Republicans to attend without having tso travel and stay over night away from home. 

Registration fee for the convention is $25.00. Those attending the caucus who want to attend the convention should have a check for $25 made out to the Maine Republican party with them at the caucus. 

All announced candidates for Governor have been invited and shown interest in addressing the caucus.  County Republican Chairman, Rep. Rich Cebra,   will also be addressing the caucus. Come meet the candidates and show your support for them.
