On Tuesday December 15th we had our Annual Cumberland County Republican Committee Christmas Party at the Portland Company in Portland. It was another great CCRC gathering continuing on the momentum we've been building throughout 2009. It was great to have State Chairman Charlie Webster in attendance as well as Several house and senate candidates and gubernatorial candidates or their representatives as part of the festivities.

It was also great to meet and introduce the County Committee to quite a few new faces, all eager to get to work helping our Republican Candidates to victory in 2010!!!  

A huge thanks goes out to Phyllis Koenig of Windham and Jan Love of Cape Elizabeth for organizing the evening (the rave reviews on the buffet are still pouring in!!!) Our attentions in the New Year will all be geared towards our Victory 2010 efforts. We've got great plans for 2010 and our first coordinated effort of the new year will be our town caucuses in late January and early February. Our Caucus Assistance Plan is already in the works and from all my conversations at the Christmas party, the excitement is growing!

That's the start of something big next year but for now, I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.
